Design Engineer ( Fabrication & Crane )

We are hiring a Design Engineer with 5–8 years of experience and strong proficiency in SolidWorks to design various crane systems, including EOT, JIB, Gantry, and Portable Gantry Cranes. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mechanical design and sheet metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom crane systems and sheet metal components
• Create 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability
• Improve existing designs, perform design calculations, and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and perform cost/material analysis

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design, especially in cranes and fabrication
• Expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and structural analysis
• Knowledge of crane standards (IS, FEM, CMAA)
• Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• Familiarity with fabrication processes (laser cutting, welding, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
