Design Engineer-Door Trim

As a Design Engineer-Door Trim, your role involves generating CATIA V5 Body Engineering CAD concepts and solutions for ongoing and new projects related to Door Trim. You will be responsible for the design and development of Door Trims, Tailgate Trims, Door Claddings, Pillar Capping, and Finishers. Your key responsibilities include: - Creating CAD geometry and drawings to support various closure projects. - Ensuring that data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity. - Providing CAD support to progress the design in alignment with program timescales. - Checking and managing clearance to interface parts. - Ensuring manufacturing feasibility of parts. - Escalating unresolved issues to the Lead Engineer. - Meeting all project deliverables. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. - 5-7 years of experience.
