Design Engineer - Catia V5

The Product Design Engineer will be responsible for designing plastic components and creating assemblies using Catia V5. You should be proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will include developing 3D plastic part designs, creating 2D child part drawings, and preparing assembly drawings in accordance with manufacturing requirements. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct A-Class Surface Analysis, create concept designs based on customer-provided surfaces, and evaluate tooling feasibility. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in Catia V5 software, be skilled in interpreting customer specifications for drawings, and possess a strong background in 3D and 2D CAD design. Knowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tooling concepts, and GD&T principles will be essential. Familiarity with PLM systems, particularly Teamcenter, is preferred.
