Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed design specifications and calculations for mechanical components, systems, and products.
Create 2D and 3D CAD models, prototypes, and simulations to visualize designs and test functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, marketing, and quality assurance to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.
Conduct regular testing and evaluation of prototypes and designs to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, offering solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.
Research and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to realize design concepts.
Compile and maintain up-to-date documentation related to design projects, including specifications, reports, and change orders.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices to ensure innovative design solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout the design process.
