Profile-Auto CAD / Design Engineer

Location- Hyderabad

Experience- 4+ years

Ctc-upto 6 lpa (Depends on interview)

Working days- 5 days (9:30am- 5:30 pm)

Experience:

• Panel Design (Electrical Schematics) - Switchgear / Automation / PLC / Compact Enclosures / Cabinets (Must)
• Panel Design (Mechanical Design) - Switchgear / Automation / PLC / Compact Enclosures / Cabinets (Average ~ Advance)

Background:-

Electrical Industry Experience: Oil & Gas / Plants / Refineries / Electrical Assets (transformer/GIS/Motors/Generator)

Qualification:

Electrical (Degree / Diploma)

Skills:

AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical – Must

EPLAN – Added Advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• General Arrangement Drawings: Create and review general arrangement drawings for electrical systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to applicable codes and standards.
• Schematic Drawings: Develop and maintain electrical schematic drawings, including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and equipment schedules as required. Ensure that the schematics reflect the project requirements and comply with relevant IEC/IEEE standards.
• Drawing Processes: Establish and implement standardized drawing processes, including CAD file management, naming conventions, layering standards, and drawing templates. Continuously improve these processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with project teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of accurate electrical drawings. Coordinate with headquarters or other remote teams for project execution and to align with corporate standards and guidelines.
• Design Templates: Develop and maintain standardized design templates and libraries, including symbols, blocks, and drawing formats. Implement efficient strategies for reusing existing design elements, thereby improving productivity and reducing errors.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings and designs. Conduct regular audits and checks to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AUTOCAD Electrical software, industry trends, and relevant standards. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and participation in professional forums.
