Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer specializing in Mold Manufacturing, you will play a key role in turning ideas into manufacturable designs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and refine mold designs that meet performance and production requirements. This role demands precision, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of mold engineering principles.

Develop and design injection molds, dies, and tools based on project specifications.

Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA.

Conduct feasibility studies and perform design reviews with internal teams and customers.

Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with production, machining, and quality departments to ensure successful mold production.

Required Skills and Knowledge

This position requires strong technical expertise and an ability to translate complex requirements into efficient designs. You will need a solid understanding of materials, manufacturing methods, and quality standards used in mold production.

Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or AutoCAD).

Strong knowledge of mold design principles and manufacturing processes.

Understanding of injection molding, tool design, and material properties.

Experience with GD&T and design validation.

Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹360,507.48 - ₹762,726.05 per year
