Job Description

A Deputy Project Manager for a civil road project manages daily operations, assists the Project Manager, coordinates resources, tracks budgets and schedules, ensures quality, and communicates with stakeholders to deliver the project on time and within scope. Responsibilities include developing plans, assembling teams, managing issues, and maintaining relationships with all parties involved in the road construction. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Developing detailed plans that define the project's scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Team Management:Assembling and leading project teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring their progress to ensure successful execution.
  • Resource Coordination:Coordinating internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Budget and Financial Management:Managing the project budget, controlling costs, and ensuring proper financial records.
  • Stakeholder Communication:Communicating project status, issues, and successes to project teams, sponsors, and senior management.
  • Risk and Issue Management:Identifying, resolving, and escalating project issues and risks as needed.
  • Quality Control:Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Progress Monitoring:Continuously monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Relationship Management:Building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Project Management: Experience in managing the different phases of a project, from initiation to closeout.
  • Civil Engineering: A background in civil engineering or a related infrastructure field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, understanding of road construction processes, and knowledge of tools like AutoCAD.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to understand and manage project budgets and financial controls.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
