Job Description

Scope of the role:

We are seeking a dynamic, driven Deputy Head of Sales and Marketing who will lead business development initiatives and oversee both sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and handling international customers. This leader will drive revenue growth through international sales in the HR services and consulting industry, while also steering marketing strategy and execution to support business expansion and brand authority. The position reports directly to company leadership and would be vital in ensuring coordination and optimal performance across commercial functions.

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities across sectorsfor HR solutions including staffing, EOR, payroll, compliance. Share regular reports and dashboards with leadership.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of international clients and convert prospects into long-term accounts. Maintain CRM and track all sales activities, leads, proposals, and closures.
  • Design and execute go-to-marketstrategies tailored for each geography.
  • Define and implementsales strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.
  • Maintain a robustsales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Delivery, Finance) to create client proposals and pricing models.
  • Ensure commercial terms are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns supporting lead generation and brand building.
  • Oversee the execution of digital marketing strategies, including website, social media, and content initiatives, ensuring sales and marketing efforts align for maximum impact.
  • Guide the development of marketing materials, case studies, and sales enablement assets for international markets.
  • Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and leverage data insights to refine business and goto-market strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree (MBA preferred).

  • 4-8 years of experience in sales, business development, or client servicing roles; experience working closely with marketing is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to close B2B deals and manage key accounts.
  • Has proven experience in handling international customers as part of the sales process
  • Preferred to have a Strong understanding of HR services (payroll,staffing, EOR, HR tech, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office.
