Deputy Manager/Manager - Internal Audit

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Execution: Conduct internal audits of various departments and functions within the organization, focusing on financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Accounting & Financial Audits: Review and verify financial records, including ledger accounts, Ledger scrutiny, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Taxation & GST Compliance reviews: Audit tax-related activities, including the calculation, payment, and filing of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST). Ensure all tax compliances are met accurately and on time.
• Treasury Audits: Assess and audit treasury operations, including cash management, Asset Liability management and investment activities. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over treasury functions.
• Risk Assessment & Control: Identify potential risks and weaknesses in internal controls and recommend corrective actions to mitigate them.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, and recommendations for management. Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in any of below areas such as Audits (handling Statutory audits, Tax audits, GST audit, Internal audit of Accounts & finance), Corporate taxation, GST compliances, Ind AS accounting, Concurrent audits of bank. Experience in the BFSI sector or Capital market sector is a significant plus.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Ind-AS, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
• In-depth understanding of GST compliances and other tax regulations.
• Familiarity with RBI prudential norms, treasury operations and risk management governing NBFC sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Tally and other utility software
