Deputy Manager/Manager - Finance

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and provide financial MIS, reports, and analysis for the division including P&L, variance analysis, and financial status updates within stipulated timelines.
  
• Consolidate data for quarterly and annual closure of accounts and support preparation of the annual business plan for the division.
  
• Monitor adherence to financial controls through regular checks, validations, and reporting mechanisms.
  
• Coordinate and support statutory as well as internal audits; track, report, and ensure timely closure of audit non-conformances and process deviations.
  
• Maintain and submit monthly and quarterly accounts to Divisional and Corporate Finance teams.
  
• Monitor cost elements against defined targets and provide justifications for any variances.
  
• Manage and maintain working capital levels in line with divisional targets.
  
• Ensure timely capitalization of assets and accurate tracking of MRP-related financial data.
  
• Oversee statutory compliance and ensure adherence to all financial and accounting regulations.
  
• Manage physical verification of material availability and monitor material movement.
  
• Handle purchase and stores functions alongside finance operations to ensure smooth coordination and cost control.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• Must be Semi-qualified or Qualified

  CA / ICWA

  professionals preferred.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably from the

  manufacturing or auto ancillary industry

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and financial reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience in MIS reporting, cost monitoring, audit coordination, and working capital management.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, process-oriented mindset.
