Understand BOM and material requirement for new products introduced in coordination with R&D and Production teams.
Prepare procurement plans in line with production timelines and launch schedules.
Identify and qualify new vendors for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
Float inquiries, compare quotations, and prepare cost analysis for procurement approvals.
Release POs based on approval and maintain accurate purchase records.
Coordinate with vendors for timely material readiness and dispatch.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers for procurement of imported components.
Ensure necessary documentation (PI, packing list, BOE) and follow-up with CHA/logistics partners for timely clearance.
Align with Design, R&D, Production, and Quality teams for any changes or updates in specifications.
Ensure the procurement is aligned with project schedules.
Ensure all incoming materials are in compliance with technical and quality requirements.
Follow up on rejections and replacement of non-conforming materials.
Maintain procurement records, vendor communication, and delivery schedules.
Submit weekly reports on purchase status, pending deliveries, and risks.
Handle local procurement requirements as per urgent project needs.
Provide necessary support in upcoming large-scale projects as required.
