Job Description

Job Title:

Location:

Deputy Manager / Manager – Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and follow up on
RFQs (budgetary & firm)
from clients and ensure
timely, accurate quotation submissions
.
Identify and develop new customers and projects through
cold calls, field visits
, and market scanning.
Prepare detailed
techno-commercial proposals
including costing, pricing, and coordination with internal departments.
Ensure consistent delivery of
quarterly/annual sales targets
within the assigned territory.
Conduct
client meetings and negotiations
, including
international sales visits
when required.
Foster customer relationships and handle escalations with a proactive approach.
Take on
additional responsibilities
and cross-functional support as and when required.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 6+ years of field sales experience including
cold calling, technical discussions, and negotiations
.
Strong knowledge of
mechanical engineering products
—especially in
industrial applications
like power, oil & gas, EPCs.
Must have experience in
direct overseas sales
(site visits, client handling, deal closure).
Excellent communication, persuasion, and
cross-functional coordination
skills.
DISC profiling or Thomas Assessment
familiarity is a plus.

Software Proficiency:

SAP
MS Office
(Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
CAD
(Preferred, not mandatory)

Note:

Candidates experience in Engineering Industry. Compressors, Pumps, valves, Heat exchangers etc. in

handling Power, Oil and gas, EPC customers
