Job Description

CPO Quality Job role:

1. Quality Management system

  • Quality Policy and Manual
  • Standardisation of Technical specifications/ Process: Develop SOP, ITP, checklist, Master material list, approved third party testing labs, QA/QC implementation process.

2. BOQ Standardization

  • Standardization of technical specifications for the Organisation
  • Incorporate the quality parameters for all BOQ items to guide material procurement, execution and testing processes.

3. Material and Manufacturer Assessment

  • Evaluate and approve materials, manufacturers, and contractor based on quality, durability, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and tests of materials to ensure conformity with approved standards.
  • Maintain a centralized master material list of pre-approved manufacturers and material, regularly updated based on performance.

4. Contractor Assessment and Qualification

  • Assess contractors for technical competency, past performance, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Review contractor performance during and after project completion to provide feedback and determine future eligibility.

5. Monitoring and Compliance

  • Monitor on-site QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and BOQ specifications.
  • Verify that quality-related issues identified during inspections or audits are resolved promptly and effectively.

6. Audits and Reviews

  • Conduct periodic quality audits for ongoing projects to assess adherence to processes and specifications.
  • Conduct Pre handover audits before handover to customers to assess status of the handover.
  • Generate detailed audit reports highlighting deficiencies, root causes, and Action need.

7. Training and Knowledge Sharing

  • Provide training to site teams on materials testing, quality standards, and best practices.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to align all teams with the organizations quality expectations.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation - Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions on learnings from completed projects

8. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Compile project-wise quality performance reports for senior management.
  • Analyse recurring issues and trends to recommend systemic improvements.

9. Customer and Post-Handover Feedback

  • Address post-handover quality issues reported by customers, ensuring swift resolution.
  • Incorporate customer feedback into future quality improvement initiatives.

11. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Explore and introduce innovative construction techniques and materials to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Periodically review and update quality processes to adapt to changing industry practices.
