• Develop project objectives, create detailed plans, and oversee the execution of engineering projects from start to finish
• Establish project budgets, track costs, and monitor project progress to ensure completion within the set timeline.
• Provide technical expertise, perform technical studies, and ensure all engineering tasks and designs meet specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, conduct site inspections and tests, and ensure compliance with safety codes
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients, detailing progress, issues, and recommended actions.
• Will be responsible for the project scheduling and manpower allocation for the projects as per the priorities.

Your profile as Deputy Manager - Project Management (Equipment Installation)

• We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience which includes planning, technical understanding, and directing engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Should have problem solving abilities both technically and commercially.
• Should have competencies in powertrain testbenches, transmission testbenches, tire benches, core knowledge on battery testers and HVAC systems.
• Should have skills in preparation of documentation part, preparation of PPT, preparing the project progress chart, estimated timeline chart etc.
• Should have good presenting skills and convincing skills, soft spoken and understand the customer requirements and pains.
• Should have knowledge while discussing with the suppliers and setting up the technical requirements.
• Could be capable of conducting the kick-off meeting, progress meetings etc with the customers weekly or bi-weekly as per the requirement.
• The role includes the travelling at different sites. Capable to travel more than 50%.
• Should be capable to handle the few installations independently and may be by own hands as and when required.
