Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Knowledge of Transmission / Transaxle Assembly /Gear Box Process.

  2. Knowledge of Basic Machining Process of Gears & Aluminium Housings.

  3. In depth knowledge about PFMEA / Control Plan / PFC . (Machining & Assembly)

  4. Knowledge of Performance test parameters of Gear Box.

  5. Knowledge of New Product Development Process.

  6. Knowledge of Quality Systems in general and TS- 16949, APQP, PPAP.

  7. Responsible for continuous process improvement on shop floor through various improvement tools like Kaizen, QC story, DOE etc.

  8. Ensure adherence to & continuous support in productivity, quality, Cost & delivery improvement initiatives

  9. Tooling Design, 2D drawing & 3D model, Design from finish part drawing using (Software s: like UGNX6 /Catia, AutoCAD). Expertise in AutoCAD.

  10. Knowledge of Jigs & Fixtures and assembly tooling s, Pneumatic tools and DC Nut runners.


Project Management.

Experience

3 to 5 years.

1) Knowledge of Transmission Assembly Process

2) Knowledge of Basic Machining Process.

3) Good Analytical ability.

4) Knowledge & application of Statistical tool like DOE, SPC .

5) Assembly Drawing reading to design of assembly process

6) Component drawing reading to design of Machining process to achieve desired specification.

7) General Purpose machine (Tool Room) Knowledge to design effective & efficient Fixtures manufacturing process.

8) Customer Focus.

9) Result orientation with execution excellence

10) Good techno-commercial skills.
