Hospital project experience – preferred

Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a Deputy Manager – MEP (Project Execution) to lead day-to-day site execution, ensuring quality, safety, compliance, documentation, and timely delivery of MEP works. The role involves managing contractors, verifying drawings and BOQ compliance, billing/measurements, QA/QC implementation, and reporting to Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site execution including supervision of work progress, materials, and labour
• Counter-check GFC layouts and contractor working drawings as per site conditions/requirements
• Ensure work quality conforms to relevant codes, standards, and project requirements
• Ensure site works follow standard safety practices
• Implement QA plan, methodologies, checklists, safety plan, and environmental plans as per standards
• Plan and schedule activities to achieve project completion targets as per contract (time, quality, deliverables)
• Verify that all works and materials comply with approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ
• Review/approve RFAs and ensure timely measurement and recording of works executed
• Verify contractor bills and forward to HO for certification within specified timelines
• Check measurements, prepare deviation statements, extra items, RE, and submit to HO
• Prepare replies to KIIFB observation memos
• Resolve technical issues in coordination with Project Manager / HO
• Ensure all site registers, approved drawings, statutory approvals, and contract documents are maintained and updated
• Review Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) prepared by site engineers
• Coordinate quality control testing with contractors including source approvals, material/routine tests, third-party tests, and QA documentation

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of MEP execution, QA/QC, billing & measurements, contract/BOQ compliance
• Knowledge of safety and statutory compliance in construction projects
• Strong coordination skills with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Good documentation, reporting, and follow-up capability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
