Deputy Manager - Finance Accounts (Financial Reporting)

Role Purpose

We are hiring for the role of Manager Finance & Accounts (Financial Reporting).

This is an Individual Contributor role reporting to the Director Finance.

The responsibilities we entrust you with

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
• Assist with the preparation of reports for senior management, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor Monthly closing activities and book closure
• Maintain and update financial reporting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting.
• Support internal control evaluations and enhancements related to financial reporting.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate external audits and serve as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Support internal audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Enhance reporting systems, processes, and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain financial reporting tools (e.g., ERP systems, consolidation software).
• Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise and mentor financial reporting team members.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to finance staff and other departments.

What matters in this role

Relevant work experience:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (INDAS /IFRS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Workiva).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
