Deputy Manager - DC Network Ops Engineer

Role Overview: As a Network Operations Specialist at VOIS India, you will be responsible for minimizing the business impacts of critical and complex outages in Global Data Centres by identifying root causes and resolving issues promptly. You will play a crucial role in minimizing the impact of network changes, reducing human errors, and driving the change process effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate with multiple teams locally and globally to explore feasible options and resolve incidents efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Provide L2 support for network operations on a 24x7 basis, owning and resolving incidents escalated by customers or L1 support teams within agreed timelines. - Escalate issues outside the team's scope to third-level/vendor teams for resolution. - Collaborate with respective teams to reduce the number of repeated incidents and identify automation opportunities for operational activities. - Review and update the current knowledge base, run book/operation procedures, and fill gaps to ensure the knowledge base is updated. - Communicate incident resolution progress updates to stakeholders, participate in major incident handling calls, and escalate timely as per the process. Qualifications Required: - BSc or BE degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering. - Analytical and problem-solving skills with adaptability and self-dependence. - 5+ years of work experience in large data centers resolving network issues. - Experience in troubleshooting telco-grade routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls. - 2 years of experience in a virtual environment using VMware. - Understanding of cloud concepts and experience in public/private cloud support. - Certifications like NSX/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIS/AWS are desired. - Basic understanding of Agile and DevOps way of working is a plus.,
