Deputy Manager- Costing

Job Summary-

This individual will be primarily responsible for leading complex costing analyses on all new and requoted projects for Tricord International.

The Deputy Manager- Costing will be measured quarterly on their performance.

Job Functions-

• Own complete costing for new projects across multiple processes.
• Benchmark quotes against historical data and market rates.
• Gather raw material rates, labor, and machine hour data
• Maintain costing template updates and version control
• Perform detailed costing for all new projects.
• Engage with suppliers to negotiate pricing
• Drive strategic cost reduction initiatives across supplier base
• Collaborate with finance and leadership on profitability impact assessments.
• Perform feasibility studies to determine supplier readiness and capabilities.
• Manage maintenance of raw material historical data sheets.
• Attend weekly sales review meetings to communicate negotiation progress with sales team.
• Approve standard operating procedures for future costing processes.
• Continued education on costing practices for processes not in competency
