ESL Steel Limited is poising towards debottlenecking of its operations & has expansion plans in Jharkhand state. We are in the process of expanding in 2 phases, First phase is 1.5 MT to 3 MT Brown field project and Second Phase from 3 MT to 10 MT Green Field Project, to ensure Vedanta’s strong footprint in steel business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure environment, health and safety (EHS) at workplace with a goal of zero harm, zero waste, zero discharge
• Build a strong team with respect to skill and attitude to achieve the organizational goals. Creating and implementing SOPs
• Demonstrate leadership in normal situations and during crisis
• Achieving targets of cost/quantity/quality/availability/OEE
• Focus on improvement initiatives and analysis of failures
• Planning and budgeting the targets
• Co-ordination with suppliers and customers for smooth functioning and achieving the targets
• Review daily, monthly and annual performance and designing actions to close the gaps
• Ensure customer satisfaction

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• Blast furnace operation
• Handling blast furnace irregularities
• Knowledge of blast furnace raw materials
• Statutory requirements
