Job Summary:

Deputy General Manager (DGM) Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and execution of manufacturing engineering processes, tools, and strategies to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role serves as a key technical leader and project manager across manufacturing sites and acts as a deputy to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Translate product requirements into detailed technical specifications and plans.
• Lead the design, development, and testing of new cookware products and features.
• Ensure products meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
• Development & prove out of new product along with Press & Assembly Tools.
• Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Conduct product testing and analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure products meet all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential problems and implement preventative measures.
• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for cookware production, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly and effectively
• Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to ensure processes meet performance requirements
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including management and stakeholders.
• Manufacturing Processes: Possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment used in cookware productions.

Qualifications:

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience 15 to 20 Years and above
• Preferred experience: Cookware/Automobile industry background experience added as advantage.
