Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Oversight:

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all project activities, ensuring seamless coordination across all functions.
  • Guide and mentor the entire site team, promoting improvements in project management practices and execution efficiency.
  • Drive adoption and implementation of Aparnas Standards of Excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, value engineering, and innovation across all projects.

Design & Drawing Management:

  • Manage and coordinate with consultants (Structural, MEP, etc.) and vendors for timely delivery of drawings.
  • Review, check, and suggest necessary modifications to drawings to ensure constructability and compliance.
  • Follow up with consultants/vendors to ensure design issues are resolved and updated drawings are delivered promptly.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Coordination with all consultants, contractors, and external agencies to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
  • Conduct and coordinate all internal and external review meetings, ensuring timely discussion and resolution of project issues.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and assess the quality of works during execution; provide corrective guidance where required.
  • Ensure all test reports and quality certificates are received, reviewed, and documented.

Planning, Scheduling & Progress Monitoring:

  • Vet the final project schedule and present it to management for approval.
  • Monitor progress of works against approved schedules and conduct regular review meetings to track milestones.
  • Verify reports prepared by Planning & QS engineers and present them to management during review sessions.

Commercial & Documentation Control:

  • Check and certify R.A bills submitted by all vendors.
  • Prepare and review variation statements and ensure proper documentation of deviations.
  • Guide the team in maintaining Joint Measurement Records (JMRs) and quantity verification of executed works.
  • Review reconciliation statements for materials and verify milestone-based deductions.
  • Ensure submission and verification of warranties and guarantees as required.

Team Development:

  • Continuously evaluate team performance and identify training needs.
  • Recommend and implement training and development programs to improve staff capability and effectiveness.
