Job Location

To be successful as a DGM-Mechanical Projects, the ideal candidate should have strong project management skills involved in overseeing and coordinating various projects from start to finish while ensuring that schedules, budgets, ansd specifications are followed carefully. We seek a mechanical projects leader with significant experience in site management, contractors management, manpower planning, erection planning, and people management.

Responsibilities

• He should be responsible for Mechanical Projects and well-versed in a major Brownfield Cement Projects and ensure the project is successfully executed—on time and within budget, from initiation to commissioning—and achieves the guaranteed performance.
• Coordinate internal resources and contractors for the flawless execution of the brownfield project, while constantly keeping in mind the agreed objectives, including equipment efficiency, quality of on-site works, project cost-effectiveness, environmental conservation, and related concerns.
• Make sure all machinery on a given project is constructed and installed correctly while paying attention to occupational safety of everyone involved at site.
• Liaise between engineers and others working on the project, and ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Identify the right contractors for executing mechanicals works within time and within budget
• Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring mechanical issues so that they can be resolved

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s is preferred
• 20-25 years of experience in the Projects in cement industry.
• Aged between 40 to 50 years.
• Experience in cement industry is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven working experience in handling large, complex projects.
• Comfort with directing people from varied backgrounds or taking up leadership responsibilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in Telugu and English
• Fluency in Hindi is a plus
