Deputy General Manager - EHS

• Develop, implement, and maintain the companys EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead and oversee all EHS activities across multiple sites or divisions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance through data analysis, reporting, and benchmarking.
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to prevent recurrence of workplace accidents or environmental incidents.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs to employees, contractors, and management to promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste management, emissions, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and legal, to align EHS strategies with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the EHS team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and present EHS reports and metrics to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Manage emergency response planning and drills, including fire safety, evacuation, and spill response.
• Oversee contractor safety management programs, ensuring compliance and adherence to company EHS standards.
• Liaise with external agencies, regulatory bodies, and auditors during inspections and compliance reviews.
• Drive initiatives related to environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and corporate social responsibility.

Experience

• BE/ in Civil
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science
• Certified Safety Auditor,
• Minimum 18 years of experience AS EHS Engineer in high rise commercial project
• Must be an EHS Head in Construction Company for at least 3 years
• Must be at least an AGM/DGM EHS at current organisation and must be looking after multiple projects.
• NEBOSH IOSH qualified.
