Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales Operations Manager at PepsiCo, you will play a critical leadership role in orchestrating and overseeing the sales operations team to achieve exceptional business results. Your main focus will be on managing and enhancing sales processes to contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the organization. You will work closely with the Sales Head of Global dCommerce and senior leadership teams in the US and Europe. Your role will involve overseeing a team of approximately 10 direct reports across different geographies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a Sales Operations team to ensure accurate and complete execution of reports, deep dives, and projects in alignment with business objectives - Monitor and assess sales performance metrics to identify root causes for disparities and develop relevant performance indicators for data-driven decision-making - Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives to enhance operational and performance data utility and provide insights for cross-functional alignment - Analyze sales data and market trends to guide the organization with data-driven insights and support markets in meeting/exceeding sales objectives - Guide on technology and transformation needed for customers, automate repetitive reports/tasks, and shift focus towards analytical support - Share key projects with senior stakeholders and identify future opportunities for productivity optimization - Support in shifting to a capability-led and geography-agnostic sales operations team and apply best practices for harmonization - Support recruitment and allied activities for incoming roles and ensure effective ways of working with various regions Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in sales/sales excellence/customer insights & analytics, with dComm/FMCG experience preferred - Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and data sources like Nielsen/IRI for analyzing sales-related data - Strong understanding of market dynamics and the ability to optimize sales processes for standardization and harmonization - Track record in the retail/FMCG sector with a basic understanding of dCommerce - Exceptional analytical skills to translate complex sales data into actionable solutions and guide the team effectively - Proficiency in data analysis software, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI, to facilitate data-driven decision-making - Ability to lead a team of analysts and collaborate effectively across the organization in a cross-functional teamwork environment,
