Role Summary

The Deputy Director – Nursing will oversee academic and administrative functions of the Nursing Department. This role ensures excellence in teaching, student development, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of innovation, research, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing faculty to maintain high teaching standards.
• Develop, implement, and review curriculum in line with INC guidelines.
• Guide and mentor faculty in professional growth and research.
• Oversee student admissions, training, and overall academic progress.
• Ensure compliance with INC, State Nursing Council, and University norms.
• Coordinate clinical training with hospital partners.
• Promote research, publications, and innovative teaching methods.
• Represent the department in academic and professional forums.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  M.Sc. Nursing (Ph.D. preferred).

• Experience:

  20+ years in nursing education/administration.

Skills:

• Strong academic and administrative leadership.
• Candidates with a proven research background will be given priority.
