Overview
A job description for a .NET Architect with 15+ years of experience and Microsoft Azure expertise wouldfocus on the candidate's ability to design, implement, and maintain complex cloud solutions using Azure and .NET technologies.They would be responsible for guiding development teams, ensuring scalability, and contributing to the overall architectural direction of projects. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Architect and Design

Design and implement cloud-native applications and services on Azure using .NET Core, ASP.NET, and other relevant frameworks.

Solution Design

Develop end-to-end technical solutions that align with business requirements, considering scalability, performance, and security.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Code Reviews and Quality Assurance

Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.

Performance Tuning and Optimization

Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure, optimizing for optimal performance.

Cloud Adoption and Modernization

Lead efforts in modernizing existing systems and migrating them to the cloud, leveraging Azure services.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate effectively with other stakeholders, including product managers, business analysts, and security teams.

Monitoring and Management

Monitor application performance and infrastructure health, and implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer

Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and implementation details, facilitating knowledge transfer across teams.

Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and Azure services, and continuously improve architectural practices and methodologies. Azure ExpertiseProven experience with Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and DevOps tools. Architectural Design PatternsStrong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles, including microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven architectures. Cloud-Native DevelopmentExperience with cloud-native development practices, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless functions. DevOps PracticesExperience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation. Security ExpertiseUnderstanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
