Role Overview

Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking a driven and experienced Deputy Collection Manager to handle secured loan collections in the Kumbakonam region. The candidate will manage field collection activities for Mortgage Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), and Home Loans, ensuring strong recovery performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage collection operations for secured loan products, focusing on overdue and high-risk accounts.
  
• Conduct regular field visits to customers to ensure timely repayments and settlement negotiations.
  
• Reduce delinquency and maintain healthy portfolio performance for the region.
  
• Collaborate with legal and recovery teams for escalated cases and NPA accounts.
  
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while building positive customer relationships.
  
• Maintain accurate data entries and system updates for all recovery activities.
  
• Analyze portfolio trends and implement corrective action plans in advance.
  
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal guidelines.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of secured loan collection processes (Mortgage Loans / LAP / Home Loans).
  
• Hands-on experience in field collections and difficult customer handling.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  
• Ability to manage region-level collections independently.
  
• Good understanding of local market geography in and around Kumbakonam.
  
• Basic computer knowledge for MIS and reporting.
  

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline (preferably Finance or Business).
  
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence is mandatory.
