Located in Punjab’s Mansa district, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. (TSPL) represents the largest private thermal power facility in North India, with an installed capacity of 1980 MW, contributing nearly 30% of the state’s electricity demand. Meenakshi Energy Ltd. (MEL) in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district has a capacity of 1000 MW, while Vedanta Ltd. Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) in Singhitarai village, Sakti district, is a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant. Together, these plants reflect Vedanta Power’s commitment to powering progress through high-performance assets and regional impact.

Roles & Responsibilitites

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance intelligence and ensure proactive responses.
• Lead Security team, ensuring operational cohesion and efficiency.
• Assess risks and threats to personnel, assets, and resources, and develop security solutions.
• Drive digital transformation by implementing automated security systems for real-time risk management.
• Align security strategies with business goals, continuity plans, and secure social approvals for operations.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement security procedures to safeguard assets and maintain operational integrity.
• Conduct audits and compliance assessments, collaborating with SBUs to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Driving automation initiatives & Internal and External benchmarking to identify areas of improvement.
• Ensure the logistics security of raw material including in transit material.

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate with Defence/Police/Paramilitary services background
• NCC C certificate and with a minimum work experience of over 10 years.
• Local language (Telugu) is a must for this role.
