As a Delivery Manager in the financial services sector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of multiple complex IT programmes. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and overseeing various IT programmes to ensure they are delivered within scope, time, and budget. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and contribute to business growth. - Engaging with senior business stakeholders to align programme objectives with the strategic needs of the organization. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: - At least 15 years of experience in IT programme and Delivery Management. - A proven track record of successfully managing high-profile IT programmes across multiple workstreams. - Strong expertise in senior business stakeholder management to ensure alignment with strategic goals. - Demonstrated success in leading large teams, providing clear direction, and fostering commitment. - Extensive experience in delivering multi-million-pound programmes using both agile and waterfall methodologies. - A deep understanding of operating models and methodologies, including large-scale agile transformations. - Skills in managing internal teams, partners, and suppliers to drive successful programme delivery. - Experience in Application Development and Product Development within financial services would be advantageous. Additionally, your technical skills should include proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, IT Programme Management, Stakeholder Management, Application Development, Product Development, Financial Services, Multi-Workstream Oversight, Leadership, Vendor Management, and Risk & Compliance.
