Description
As a Delivery Director / Head of Delivery in the Treasury & Capital Markets domain, your role will involve leading and overseeing the delivery of trading, risk, funding, and liquidity platforms. You will be responsible for program execution, modernization, and solution governance, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of critical systems. Your deep knowledge of capital markets technology and experience in end-to-end delivery ownership will be crucial in collaborating with global stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities - Delivery Leadership:** - Own end-to-end delivery of Treasury & Markets technology initiatives across India and global teams. - Drive planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder reporting for multi-million-dollar programs. - Govern multiple agile teams spanning engineering, QA, DevOps, and data streams. - Ensure delivery excellence in resiliency, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. **Hands-on Program Management:** - Stay actively engaged in execution architecture reviews, dependency management, release planning, and cutover management. - Drive modernization of legacy Treasury & Markets platforms through monolith-to-microservices transition, cloud migration, and data streaming. - Implement best practices in Agile/Scaled Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native delivery. **Solutioning & Modernization:** - Collaborate with product owners and Treasury stakeholders to define target state architectures. - Shape modernization roadmaps focusing on microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, real-time data, and cloud. - Oversee vendor platforms such as Murex, Calypso/Adenza, FIS, Finastra, TCS BaNCS, Oracle OFS, and internal builds. **AI & Productivity Enablement:** - Advocate for the use of AI/GenAI tools to accelerate engineering processes like rapid prototyping, test automation, and code refactoring. - Explore AI-driven approaches for program monitoring, predictive delivery analytics, and risk alerts. **People & Stakeholder Management:** - Build, scale, and manage high-performing delivery teams comprising 25-50+ FTEs across captive/vendor ecosystems. - Collaborate with global CIO/CTO, business sponsors, and regulators to align delivery with business outcomes. - Manage third-party vendors and offshore/onshore delivery partners effectively. **Key Qualifications:** - 10 - 15 years of experience in software delivery for BFSI, with a significant portion in capital markets / treasury systems. - Strong track record as Delivery Director / Head of Delivery / Program Director in Sell-side / Buy-side / Treasury tech. - Deep expertise in delivering mission-critical systems like Treasury, ALM, Risk, MM, FX, Fixed Income, Funding, or Investment Platforms. - Hands-on experience with modernization projects involving microservices, APIs, cloud-native solutions, containers (Kubernetes/Docker), and real-time data pipelines (Kafka/Pulsar). - Proficiency in engineering and solutioning, capable of addressing delivery challenges beyond governance. - Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and leveraging AI for enhanced delivery productivity. - Proven skills in global stakeholder management, collaborating with Front Office, Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Operations teams.,
