Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

• Pickup and Delivery: Collect goods, parcels, or food items from the warehouse or vendor and deliver them safely to the customer’s location
• Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize travel time and fuel costs.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Package Handling: Load and unload packages carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Timely Deliveries: Ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled time frame.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and payments when applicable.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate politely with customers, confirm deliveries, and collect signatures or payments if required.
• Compliance: Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
• Problem Resolution: Report delays, accidents, or delivery issues to the supervisor or dispatch team immediately.
• Inventory Check: Verify the accuracy of delivery items before dispatch and after completion.
