Job Description

Lead the successful delivery of IBM Z projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and clientsatisfaction.

Architect and plan complex z/OS infrastructures for customer data centers, focusing on high
availability and disaster recovery.

Provide expert consultation and guidance on z/OS High Availability technologies, including
Parallel Sysplex, GRS, Coupling Facilities, and Sysplex Failure Management.

Implement and manage Copy Services technologies such as Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, z/OS
Global Mirror, and FlashCopy Software replication.

Conduct detailed requirements analysis, develop comprehensive documentation, and deliver
professional report presentations to customers and executives.

Lead and facilitate technical workshops for groups of up to 20+ participants, effectively
conveying complex technical information.

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and maintain
strong professional relationships.

Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of best practices in z/OS environments.

Perform z/OS operating system and software systems programming (sysprog) tasks, including
installation, customization, maintenance, and performance tuning.

Manage and troubleshoot z/OS software products and utilities.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise 15+ years of hands-on experience with:oz/OS High Availability technology and capabilities, including Parallel Sysplex, GRS,Coupling Facilities, and Sysplex Failure Management.oz/VM system programming or Linux on z Systems administration.oCopy Services technology, including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, z/OS Global Mirror, andFlashCopy Software replication.oSuccessfully delivering IBM Z projects and/or architecting and planning infrastructures forcustomer data centers.

10+ years of experience in:
oCustomer or executive-facing communications, requirements analysis, technicaldocumentation, and report presentations.oLeading customer technical workshops for up to 20+ people.

Extensive knowledge of z/OS system management products

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred technical and professional experience

Certifications related to IBM Z technologies or relevant networking/storage disciplines.

Experience with cloud integration strategies for mainframe environments.

Experience with tool migration from ISV to IBM products
