Delivery Boy Location: Hill-Cart Rd, Beside Vinayak Hotel, Siliguri Job Type: Full-Time Timing- 10 AM - Store Wind UP Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week Job Responsibilities: Deliver packages accurately and promptly to customers as per the assigned routes. Assist in packaging and preparing items for delivery to ensure they are secure and undamaged. Ensure the safe handling of packages during transit. Verify customer information and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions and submit collected payments to the designated person. Maintain delivery records and update the status of deliveries on the company system or app. Communicate effectively with the team to resolve any delivery-related issues. Follow traffic rules and safety guidelines to ensure timely and secure delivery. Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle/bike to ensure it is in good working condition. Requirements: Minimum qualification: Class 10th pass or equivalent. Valid driving license for two-wheelers (mandatory). Familiarity with local routes and neighborhoods. Ability to handle packages up to [specify weight, e.g., 10 kg]. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of using smartphones or delivery apps. Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused attitude. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or packaging is an advantage. Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple deliveries.
