Debt recovery Supervisor

As a Collection Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting new initiatives and leading continuous improvement projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading, coaching, and developing employees to ensure a high level of commitment and capability through focused collection routines. - Managing team efficiencies and ensuring that efficiency targets are met. - Being accountable for team results based on established quality service standards. - Managing 10-15 direct reports by providing superior leadership and guidance for collection activities. - Serving as a referral point for all Early Collections Low Risk staff and monitoring quality trends to address issues and escalations promptly. - Assisting in constructing an effective credit control management framework. - Allocating work assignments, establishing KPIs, and performance standards for the team. - Evaluating the quality and quantity of individual/team metrics on work performance. - Assessing team member performance periodically and during annual Performance Management Reviews (PMRs). Qualifications required for this role: - Previous experience in collection management or a related field. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team. - Knowledge of credit control management frameworks and best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
