Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced academic leader to serve as Dean – School of Business Studies (PG Programs). The ideal candidate should have led academic functions at top-tier private business schools such as BIMTECH, SP Jain, NMIMS, or similar institutions, and bring a strong mix of academic credibility, global exposure, and industry orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Academic & Strategic Leadership:
• Lead all academic, administrative, and strategic initiatives for the PG programs (MBA and related disciplines).
• Drive curriculum innovation, pedagogy enhancement, and global benchmarking.
• Faculty Development:
• Attract, develop, and retain high-quality faculty with industry and academic experience.
• Foster a culture of case-based, experiential, and research-driven teaching.
• Industry & Global Linkages:
• Build strong partnerships with corporates, MNCs, and international academic institutions.
• Facilitate international exchange programs, visiting faculty collaborations, and global immersion programs.
• Student Outcomes & Brand Building:
• Drive placements, career development programs, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Represent the business school in national/international forums and rankings.
• Research & Innovation:
• Encourage faculty and students in publishing research, consulting projects, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Promote interdisciplinary research and executive education programs.
• Compliance & Quality:
• Ensure academic and regulatory compliance with bodies such as UGC, AICTE, and NAAC.
• Lead institutional accreditation, NIRF, and international ranking efforts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 20+ years of academic/administrative experience, with a substantial part spent in leadership roles (Dean, Director, Associate Dean, or HoD) in reputed business schools.
• Prior experience with leading institutions such as BIMTECH, SP Jain, NMIMS, ISB, XLRI, or other top-tier private universities.
• Ph.D. in Management, with proven academic and research credentials.
• At least one degree from a foreign university (MBA or Ph.D.) is strongly preferred.
• Candidates from South Indian or Maharashtrian backgrounds will be given preference for cultural and institutional alignment.
