Role Summary:

The Dean of Pure Sciences will provide strategic academic leadership and administrative oversight to the departments of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This role involves fostering excellence in teaching, research, and innovation while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and academic integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the academic and administrative functions of the departments under Pure Sciences.
• Drive curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, and academic policy implementation in alignment with institutional goals.
• Foster a research-driven culture by encouraging faculty development, securing research funding, and facilitating collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and evaluate faculty performance and support student success initiatives.
• Build industry and academic partnerships to enhance learning and employment opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and infrastructure development for the departments.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from a reputed institution.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of academic experience, including leadership roles such as HoD, Associate Dean, or equivalent.
• Proven track record of research, publications, and academic excellence.
• Experience with curriculum design, accreditation, and faculty mentoring.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Geography or Geology from a recognized university.
• At least 10–15 years of academic experience with progressive leadership roles.
• Demonstrated research excellence with publications in reputed journals.
• Experience in academic administration, team leadership, and institutional development.
