Job Description We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our senior secondary faculty. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of English language and literature, along with a strong ability to guide students in critical analysis, creative expression, and academic writing. The teacher should inspire learners to think independently and express themselves confidently, both in written and spoken form. Key Responsibilities: * Teach English Language and Literature to students in Grades 11 and 12. * Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning outcomes * Develop students proficiency in literary analysis, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills * Prepare lesson plans, question papers, and assessment tools for both formative and summative evaluations * Encourage classroom discussions and critical thinking around themes in literature and current events * Support students with board exam preparation, project work, and enrichment activities * Participate actively in academic planning, departmental meetings, and school events * Provide regular feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents * Integrate technology into the teaching-learning process where appropriate Qualifications and Skills: * Master’s Degree in English or related discipline (mandatory) * B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or as required by regulatory body) * Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching English at the senior secondary level * Strong command of English grammar, literature, and composition * Familiarity with board exam patterns and academic rigor of senior classes * Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills * Proficiency in using digital tools and online platforms for instruction
