Qualification - 10 + Diploma Chemical or BSC Chemistry (Required 50%) Experience :- 2 to 5 Years Must have experience of DCS. The DCS Supervisor at Pearl Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing the Distributed Control System (DCS) activities, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of industrial processes. This role involves managing a team, optimizing control strategies, and maintaining a high standard of safety and reliability.Key Responsibilities:DCS Operations Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Distributed Control System.Ensure that the DCS is configured and functioning optimally to meet production and safety requirements.Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of DCS operators and technicians.Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.Process Optimization:Optimize DCS configurations and control strategies to improve process efficiency.Collaborate with process engineering teams to implement changes and enhancements.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in DCS operations.Conduct regular safety audits and lead initiatives to enhance safety awareness.Troubleshooting and Maintenance:Oversee troubleshooting activities and resolve issues related to the DCS.Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform routine system maintenance.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to integrate DCS requirements into overall operational plans.Participate in cross-functional teams for system upgrades and projects.Training and Development:Develop and implement training programs for DCS operators.Ensure ongoing training to keep the team abreast of the latest technologies and best practices.Performance Monitoring:Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to DCS operations.Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of DCS configurations, changes, and operational procedures.Ensure that documentation complies with industry standards and internal policies.
