Job Title: Demi Chef de Partie (Tandoor)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie – Tandoor to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hotel background, hands-on tandoor experience, and the ability to assist in maintaining high culinary standards. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations, train junior staff, and contribute to menu and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes across all kitchen sections in accordance with standard recipes, photographs, and guidelines.
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support the Chef de Partie in supervising and training kitchen team members.
• Assist in product and menu development initiatives.
• Ensure consistent and efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum High School Diploma (H.S.) or equivalent. Culinary school certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years total experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 6 months as a pantry/prep cook or equivalent combination.
• Background: Only candidates from the hotel industry will be considered.
• Location: Applicants must be based in Kolkata and should be willing to attend a trial test.
• Commute: Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Rajarhat, Kolkata before starting work.
