Job Description

Design, develop, and configure services using
IBM DataPower Gateway
(Multi-Protocol Gateways, Web Service Proxies, Firewalls).
Perform
data transformations
between
JSON, XML, and SOAP
using
XSLT
and
WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX)
.
Develop and maintain
XML schemas (XSD), JSON schemas
, and
WSDLs
for service definitions.
Implement and manage
API security policies
including OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, and SSO.
Collaborate with API Management platforms for
REST and SOAP API
implementation and policy enforcement.
Provide
production support, maintenance, and technical consulting
for DataPower and related components.
Manage and version control DataPower configurations using
Subversion (SVN)
or similar tools.
Work closely with architecture, network, and operations teams to ensure high-availability and performance.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Core Expertise:
IBM WebSphere DataPower Gateway
API Management:
API Connect or similar API management platforms
Data Transformation:
XSLT, XML, JSON, SOAP, WTX
Schemas & Definitions:
XSD, JSON Schema, WSDL
Security Protocols:
OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, SSO
Version Control:
SVN, Git, or equivalent tools
Integration Services:
Multi-Protocol Gateways, Web Service Proxies, Firewall configurations
Development Tools:
Eclipse, SOAP UI, Postman
Additional:
Exposure to REST and SOAP API design, deployment, and performance tuning

Education & Certifications

Qualification:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Certifications (Preferred):
- IBM Certified Solution Developer DataPower Gateway
- API Management / Security-related certifications
