Your Opportunity

Join BeGig as a DataOps Engineer and help businesses automate and streamline their data pipelines. You’ll ensure that data flows seamlessly across systems, from data ingestion to analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.

Role Overview

As a DataOps Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated data pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
• Work with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to ensure data quality and availability.
• Integrate various data sources, ensuring data governance, security, and compliance.
• Automate and optimize data workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Technical Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 3+ years in DataOps, data engineering, or software development.
• Tools: Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Programming: Strong Python, SQL, and data pipeline scripting skills.
• Data Storage: Familiarity with data lakes, databases, and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of data pipelines.
