Data/Information Sr Analyst

Role Overview: You will be part of the Remediation team in the Analytics & Information Management (AIM) community at Citi. Your main responsibility will be managing the analysis of customer remediation issues in the retail consumer bank globally. This will involve executing comprehensive data remediation approaches, conducting impact assessments, root cause analysis, and providing audit support. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer remediation issues across the globe, focusing on retail consumer bank - Perform remediation analysis to address gaps in policies and governance - Conduct impact assessments to identify the size of customers and dollar amounts affected - Identify issues and root causes using analytical methods - Provide audit support by tracking implementation plans and offering data evidence for audit completion Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in tools and platforms such as SAS, SQL, RDBMS, Teradata, Unix, MS Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Jira, Bitbucket, and Mainframes - Exposure to Big Data and Python - Good understanding of banking domain and consumer products (Retail Banking, Deposit, Loans, Wealth management, Mortgage, Insurance, etc.) - Knowledge of Finance Regulations and understanding of Retail Business/Banking Domain is preferred - Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex business problems, conduct data analysis and profiling, manage data, and generate actionable business insights - Ability to come up with automated techniques, identify control gaps, and provide recommendations - Interpersonal skills including excellent communication, process/project management skills, ability to work well across multiple functional areas, thrive in a dynamic environment, and contribute to organizational initiatives - Education: Masters/Advanced Degree in Information Technology/Computer Applications/Engineering/MBA from a premier institute - Experience: 5-8 years overall with at least 2 years in the Banking Industry delivering data solutions Please note that the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.,
