Data/Information Management Analyst

As a Data/Information Management Analyst at Citigroup, you will be a developing professional who deals with most problems independently and has the latitude to solve complex issues. Your work will typically deal with variable issues with potentially broader business impact, and you will need to apply professional judgment when interpreting data and results, breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are essential for exchanging potentially complex/sensitive information. **Responsibilities:** - Responsible for various data activities, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality, and database management or database architecture/design engineering - Perform routine operational or administrative work - Focus on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation on a daily basis - Have work reviewed and checked by more senior team members with limited contact outside immediate area - Deliver routine and defined outputs daily while developing knowledge of the broader context - Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 1-7 years of relevant experience - Ability to think strategically and engage resources outside direct control to achieve objectives - Proficiency in analytic tools such as SAS E-miner, Knowledge Seeker, SPSS, etc. - Experience with big data and machine learning tools like R, Python, etc. - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
