Datagaps - Java Developer - Spring Boot/Hibernate

Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
• Implement and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Apply design patterns and object-oriented programming principles to ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with SQL databases to write queries, procedures, and manage data integrity.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Solid experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Familiarity with design patterns, clean code principles, and refactoring techniques.
• Experience using version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate across teams
