As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of sustaining activities for chassis-based routers and switches. Youll analyze and resolve defects, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality fixes while mentoring junior engineers.
In this role, you will:

Handle and drive sustenance activities for switches and routers.

Analyze and fix assigned defects with complete root cause analysis and proper closure.

Provide proactive and periodic updates to support teams/customers on bug-fixing activities.

Ensure quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.

Guide and mentor junior engineers while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Stay updated and learn new technologies to enhance solutions.

Your Profile

Proficiency in C language with strong debugging and bug-fixing skills.

Experience working on chassis-based routers/switches and networking devices, including:

Chassis management, interfaces (Ethernet, T1E1/OC3/OC12), device drivers, i2c, PCI, timing (PTP, SyncE).

Hands-on experience with Broadcom/Marvell chipsets & SDK, forwarding, L2/L3/MPLS, QoS, CoS, ACL, OAM.

Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) for stakeholder and customer interactions.

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Team player with mentoring capabilities and a keen interest in learning new technologies
