Database Support & Implementation Engineer

As a skilled Database Support & Implementation Engineer for our Hospital ERP solution, your role will be crucial in providing backend database support and client-facing implementation responsibilities. Your expertise in SQL and experience in ERP or healthcare domains will be valuable in ensuring the smooth operation and successful deployment of our solution. **Key Responsibilities:** - Respond to daily client requests involving data updates, corrections, and report generation at the database level. - Develop, maintain, and modify stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views for client-specific customizations. - Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes for performance improvements. - Perform data migration, cleansing, validation, and transformation tasks. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues raised by clients. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with relevant healthcare data security and privacy standards. - Deploy and configure the Hospital ERP application and its database components in clients" infrastructure. - Support the initial setup, configuration, and migration of client data during onboarding. - Provide technical guidance and training to client IT teams during installation, go-live, and stabilization phases. - Document installation procedures, environment configurations, versioning changes, and onboarding checklists. - Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth deployment transitions. - Act as the primary contact for database-level support requests from clients. - Log, categorize, prioritize, and resolve support tickets within defined SLAs. - Escalate complex issues appropriately to development or architecture teams. - Maintain a record of customizations, versioning history, and client-specific changes. - Participate in periodic reviews and retrospective sessions with clients to address recurring issues and plan improvements. **Skills & Competencies:** *Must-Have / Core Skills* - Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent RDBMS. - Proficiency in TSQL, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, indexing, and query optimization. - Hands-on experience with database installation, backup, restore, disaster recovery, and migration processes. - Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset. - Good communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders. - Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and deliver under pressure. *Desirable / Plus* - Experience or familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, or other relational databases. - Previous work in ERP systems, especially healthcare ERP. - Understanding of .NET, C#, APIs, and web services for cross-component troubleshooting. - Knowledge of database security best practices, encryption, and auditing. - Experience in cloud database environments like Azure SQL, AWS RDS. - Certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator or SQL Server. **Qualifications & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in database support, database development, or ERP implementation. - Experience in client-facing roles, especially in installation, onboarding, and support, is preferred. - Certification in SQL Server or Database Administration will be a plus.,
