Database Engineer

Role Overview: As a Database Engineer at our CBFSS development team in Kochi, you will play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and securing database solutions for fintech applications. Your responsibilities will include database design, migration, performance optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, and security in a large-scale fintech environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable, secure, and optimized database solutions for fintech applications. - Manage data migration across platforms and ensure data integrity. - Monitor and optimize SQL queries for maximum performance. - Implement HA/DR solutions to ensure business continuity. - Work with cloud-based databases and ensure compliance with security standards. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support core banking product development. - Maintain documentation and follow best practices in database administration and development. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Database Engineer or DBA. - Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. - Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and data migration. - Knowledge of cloud database services (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience in setting up and maintaining HA/DR solutions. - Exposure to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
