Database Developer

Role Overview: As a Database Developer at NEKSS Pvt. Ltd., your role will involve enhancing the performance of the database by creating and implementing standardized database management procedures. You will oversee the installation, security, and upgrading of the database to ensure its efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Good working knowledge of SQL Databases such as MySQL (mandatory), MongoDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc. - Assess database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. - Design, deploy & maintain data table structures, stored procedures, reports, and queries optimization. - Establish policies and procedures related to data management, security, access control policies, maintenance, and utilization. - Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL statements. - Expertise in building complex stored procedures and functions. - Enhancing the scalability and performance of existing database architecture. - Developing database structures and features according to project needs. - Conducting diagnostic tests, evaluating performance metrics, and ensuring data integrity and quality. - Performing database maintenance, migration, and upgrading hardware and software. - Documenting processes and complying with best practices in database management. - Keeping up to date with developments and trends in database management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or information technology. - At least 3 years of experience in database management. - Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL). - In-depth knowledge of database technologies, architecture, and data security. - Knowledge of best practices in database management. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
