Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Database Administrator - MySQL, located in Chennai. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security. Day-to-day tasks include database design, replication setup, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing database performance. The role also involves routine database maintenance tasks and collaborating with developers to design and implement efficient database solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Database Administration and Databases
• Proficiency in Database Design and Replication
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge in optimizing database performance and ensuring database security
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the payments industry is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
